My recent stay at Bieyuan Courtyard Hotel in Beijing was a delight. As an independent traveler, the location was perfect, situated in a real living suburb with authentic Chinese culture all around. The helpful owner and staff, especially the smart English-speaking woman at reception, made my stay even better. The rooms had traditional Chinese decor and opened onto a shared courtyard, creating a cozy atmosphere. The hotel's proximity to the Beixiong subway station and famous restaurant areas like Ghost Street and HouHai made exploring the city convenient and enjoyable.

I had always wanted to visit the Beihai Park in Beijing, so I chose to stay at Bieyuan Couryard. However, I was pleasantly surprised by the free laundry cleaning services offered by the hotel.
